An unexpected amount of dead fish has has restricted hundreds of miles of river at Yellowstone National Park. The cause of this anomaly was a parasite, and scientist are expecting thousands of more fish to die. The parasite, Tetracalsula bryosalmonae, causes kidney disease. So far this parasite is no threat to humans or animals, but authorities still want animals to keep their distance especially from the dead fish. This massive death has not only affected the ecosystem around the river, it has also affected jobs as well.
